This pavilion serves as a gateway to the lake sharing a through-hallway axis with a connecting stair and the breezeway of the living and dining cabin below. The two bedrooms and a sitting room are separately articulated – each with an individual massing projection, views, landscape and sense of light. Due to the dense shade, wide views and cool breezes, large areas of the walls were made openable with tilt up cellular acrylic panels which are fastened open to free-standing frames at the beginning of each season.
